    boot rattles from base box

    hi ya could some one help me??
    my boot os rattling from the base from my box and i can't it, it sound crap is tghere anything i can do 2 make it stop rattling?

    na its my boot lid there must be something i can do sound crap.

    Sound deadening, lots of threads on here about it... that or cheaper alternative...
    remove the panel and tape up anything loose or dangling behind the panel!

    Try winding down the rubber adjusters

    May help as will make the boot lid tighter on the lock

    Aye my number plate goes mental aswel, and sometimes my spoiler if i put the bass on full

    Thats if the hatch has rubbers lol, has been a few years since I sold mine. But they allow you to adjust the height it sits at, same as on the bonnet.

    Lift the boot lid - on the bottom lip/edge there should be some rubber bumper bits, about the diameter of a 50p - they screw in and out of the boot, screwing them out a little should mean the boot shuts a bit tighter. May need to screw them a little, test, screw a little more until you get them right - unscrew them too much and you're boot lid will be a pain to close.
