    Cool My day @ Regal

Went down to Regal today to get my car looked at as been having boost problems. Tbh was expecting the worse as thought turbo and clutch had gone. Left car and walked into southampton and waited for them to phone me.

Got a call about 3 hours later saying car was sorted and they had put on EDS phase 1 map. Was a bit surprised at this tbh as had only briefly mentioned to paul in passing it was something i might be interested in. So got a cab straight back expecting to be slightly pissed off!

Got back and found out the problem was just a dodgy AFM,coil pack needed cleaning and new spark plugs needed. Everything else including turbo and clutch were fine. Took car for test drive and f**k me wot a difference! Feels like a different car compared to how it was driving b4! Also had my magnex precat fitted as well- car is sounding sweet pops nicely!

So in conclusion a good day- only spent about half what i was expecting to, turbo and clutch are fine and i've got an xtra 40bhp to play with !

Good friendly service and @ a nice price.

Only thing thought was weird is that Paul seemed to think the Ngk BKR6IX (Or woteva the code is) iridiums I had were no good even though they were only 3 weeks old. Apparently the Denso S40i's are the best for the LET? He had replaced them already and car was running much better so didnt make a big deal tbh.

Well its only a 5 second job to flash the standard map back on.

Once you drive it with it on phase 1 there wasnt really any chance you were going to say ...............er no I think I will have less power please

    Nice sales ploy

nice one mate, the denso plugs only lasted me 6months and the car started to miss fire under load, so i checked the gap and closed them a bit but no change, so fitted ngk briex16(cant remember code) and have been fine for 14months.lol
