    opinions?...roof spoiler

My mk4 is finally coming together over the next few months. and been tinkering with the idea of getting a roof spoiler.

atm its a standard 3door no spoiler jobbie, and i was thinking about being a bit different and just getting a roof spoiler rather than boot one.

dya think this would look odd? if anyones done it and got a pic i'd appreciate it,as i cant find any on google.

Im thinking it has to be quite striking but not OTT to work. i quite like this JDL jobbie-

found a pic of your car to give plp an idea of what it will be going on.

imo, i would colour code bump strips, bigger alloys and lower it before considering a spoiler that will/may look out of place on an ontherwise standard looking car

Not too bad looking on it's own, but the rear washer won't do diddly with it fitted , and you won't be able to open the boot without fouling the aerial

Edit - I've seen one of the JDL ones in the flesh and it needs a lot of work to make it fit. The curve of the underside is different to the curve of the window, so the ends don't reach the body work

Irmscher one is a lot better design and a perfect fit I love them and had one fitted to my car:

not that i use it but does the rear washer work with the irmy one?

i like the look of it and it works by itself up there.

oh and mark, exhaust next weekend, and springs next month,im not going alloys as ive just stuck brand new toyo t1-rs on prob wont bother colour coding for a while,as the way the car drives/rides is of more immidiate concern
