    Faulty indicator relay?

Does this sound like a relay problem?

Pulled off a junction today, turning left, indicator went on, Finished turning, the indicator arm flicked off, but the little green arrow stays on solid and so do all the passenger indicator lights .

Pull up outside home, turn off engine keys out of ignition, lights are all still on.

Disconnect the battery, and reconnect 5 minutes later, guess what? Lights still on

When I flick the indicator arm on to indicate left, there is a very very faint ticking noise, I think its the relay

    What do you all think?

    Whereabouts is the relay located?

Yes ! happened to wifes astra. Relay is behind small coin store to lower r/h side of drivers knee area ! You remove the little cubby hole cover and there is a small relay / fuse box behind. Put the keys in so indicator is stuck on then remove each relay one at a time till it goes out. Tap the relay lightly onto a firm surface on each face a couple of times and replace it. Hey presto - stuck relay will be sorted. Worth replacing if you can, I replaced wifes a couple of months down the road in case it went again. Buy from main dealer, you may have to order part ! If you need any help pm me - do my best !

Indicator relay is the larger one on the top row to the far right, give it a tap and see if the indicator goes out
