    tuning mk4 gsi

    i have reacently bought a red gsi. which needed a good bit of polish to get it back to a nice colour. lol.

    whats the best things to get more powerwise at 1st?
    and what to use?

    De restrict the airbox
    performace filter
    pre cat
    bigger air intake would be the best way to start.

    Remap, instant 40bhp+ gain.

    Unless you want bigger power, then get everything like exhaust, VXR turbo and bigger intercooler fitted first and go for a stage 3 remap, about a 70BHP gain

    All down to what you want to spend at the end of the day
    me I would do the small mods first up then a remap
    First up
    Air box mods with bigger air intake to air box £15
    K&N or alike air filter £40
    Cat back exhaust £300
    pre cat £130
    Remap £400ish
    intercooler start from £300 if DIY
    intercooler from Regal or CS £600 ish

    as above is the best way to start but dont as you will never ever have any money as its very addictive! im hooked and i cant go any further without an engine rebuild so im in rehab baby!!!
