Anyone who's changed their dial mats - the black sections of the dials with the indicators and warning lights (there's 5 sections in total), can you cut them free from the main part of the dials, so you only replace the temp, revs, speedo and fuel gauges?
Or do they not sit correctly?
Only asking coz I'm making a set of dials myself for a mate, and I need to know if I need to know if I've got to do the whole lot.
Used to make these for Corsa's -
But the new Astra Mk4 ones look more like the VXR's, with numbers following the circle - rather than straight.
Also, is there anything else I need to know before we take his old ones out? I've done it loads on Corsa's - I'm guessing it's all pretty straight forward tho.
