    alloy wheels-centre bore

er i was just wondering if someone out there who knows more about cars and alloys than me, might be able to help me
    i have a vauxhall astra mk3 1998 model, which has a pcd of 4x100, offset of 35-45 and a bore of 56.6
i am hoping to get some alloys which came off a volkswagen golf mk3, and have been told the alloys have an offset of 38, and a pcd of 4x100..so far so good
but looking on alloyguide.co.uk i see that golf mk3 has a bore of 57.1!
would the alloys still fit on my car would anyone know?

If they are aftermarket alloys, you should be able to get a 'vauxhall' fitment spiggot ring to replace the vw one.

e.g. If Oz made a set of wheels, they would all have the same 'Oz' centrebore to allow multi fitment, but they would provide car specific spiggot rings to ensure a better fit....

You can get spiggot rings from ebay etc if tyou know what size the wheels are..

They will fit, but don't whatever you do put them on without getting spigot rings sorted first!!!!!!!!
