    Help....... Understanding Offset/PCD etc

    Need some help AOC'ers

Right I've sourced some new wheels however here's what I need to get round.

New Wheels are 8x18 offset of 50, looking at 215/35 tyres

I need to get Hub adapters which I have also sourced, however these are 20mm, but are the correct offset and centre bore. going from 5/110 to 5/130.

Which in theory brings the offset down to ET30 with the spacers. I've been told that these wont fit through arch clearance.

    However if I go for a 7.5J x 18 with a 205/35 tyre

Will that work with the hub adapters.

    Serious Head F**K

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ET 30 will be tight, i ran 32 on my old mk4 BBS, and it was tight at -40mm drop

Bacially take the spacer size from the ET so your right at ET30. The thinner wheels will make no difference, its the front that will be tight not the back

with the tyres they should fit but you will need to roll the arches.

mmmmmm not in to that mate, or get the adapters machined down to 10mm as per Rich cabby aka Astra_sport

I hate Modding sometimes much prefer the Barry Bolt on style
