best wax for silver without a shadow of a doubt is petes 53, or colly 915 is gd too. but give the shine, plus both are very durable

Really?????? Cos I've seen silver after having Cyrstal Rock, and that's miles better than pete's or Colly.

The choice of wax will make little or no odds if the prep work is spot on... wax's job is protection, some add a subtle nuance but its oh so subtle and in testing, its been shown that nobody can really tell different waxes apart.

With that in mind, I would focus on prepping your paint as best as possible using Autoglym SRP - ideal for working by hand, work it into small areas at a time with firm pressure to ensure you get the best from the light abrasives it contains. Then top off with a wax or sealent of your choice to protect your hard work - Collinite 476S is ideal, highly durable and easy to use plus it doesn't cost silly-money.

One thing I would really recommend for prep work is a good paint cleaner such as Zymol HD Cleanse or Dodo Juice Lime Prime.

And DON'T break every rule in the book and apply Dodo juice lime prime on a hot panel in direct sunlight It doesn't come off untill you wet it and buff off Even then it's bad news
