the car was holding back like mad with a nasty flat spot...so after speaking to chris and the guys at vxr performance center up the road i decided to go for the ramair 888 replacement filter! makes the car soooo much smoother to drive and at the price of £45 i think its a good price! as you can see i made a temporary cold air feed while mines getting made! i recommend every one to ditch the induction kits and get one of these
Looking good mate, induction kits really are crap lol, good move in re-fitting the airbox
thanks to buckle for the coupe turbo headlights
that looks better with the air box on now mate, your astra is comeing along, any more plans
astra sri 2.0 turbo xp sports hatch
Only thing im not fussy on is the colour, otherwise good mods and nice car :-)
cars looking nice... really like the green, reminds me of my corsa
Whats wrong with induction kits?
Mind works quite well with this set up lol
TBH Id be moving that air intake higher up. Where it is just now is ripe for sooking up a a shed load of water

I think a lot of the problem with basic Induction Kits is heat soak. Your just "sucking in" hot air from within the engine bay.
MonkeeBoys is better as its all encased, so it cuts out a lot of the heat soak. It seems the most common way is a modded airbox.
Nice car though mate. Looks very good. Id recommend bonnet lifters to anyone - they make ANY engine bay shot look better IMO.....
