    Calipers painted

Today I had some spare time on my hands and was in the modifying mood, and thought I'd paint the calipers, popped down and bought some hammerite paint and here are some before and after photo's...

    Before:

    After:

Just post any comments, I felt Silver would be more subtle than any the other choices...

Good choice doing them silver, I did the same to mine, makes the car look like its just out the showroom.

IMO any other colour looks tacky on standard calipers.

Red/Blue/Yellow etc only work if you have a spanky set of Brembos

Looks very good mate. How much was the paint? How long did it take?

the paint was £5 ish, and it took around an hour, with the jacking up cleaning wheels and the painting, i do think it makes a good difference,

yeh thats true, i'm thinking of colour coding some more parts of the car, bump strips, door handles, the strip at bottom of the doors....

The side skirts do you mean? Looks so much better IMO. Even just the bump strips painted looks 100% better, and it must be so much easier come cleaning time!!!

There is a "how to" on here, it tells you all you need to know mate. I think the key to it is good matching paint, and patience between coats.....
