Question Have you ever followed the flashing blue lights

I driving along today when i was passed by a fire engine going at a rate with lights and siren going. I then wondered, as you do, where it was going and had i not been in the middle of a collection i might have followed it.
Has anyone ever followed a Fire Engine or Ambulance just to be nosey?

I have followed one before but only to see if a speed camera in the area works. Wouldn't unless the camera was only round the corner though

I got stuck behind an ambulance with blue flashers on near me the other week

Lights begin to do your head in though. But he was staying under or around the 60 limit so i wasn't doing anything wrong!

I've followed both ambulances and fire engines before, purely to get me through the traffic quicker!!

But I haven't got the balls to follow a police car, just in case they would rather pull me over for tailgaiting and forget about the actual criminal...

    Ive never followed any.

Mainly because, if I was in heavy traffic and a "follower" lost his nerve, there is no way on earth Id let him back in. No matter what was going on or coming towards him. If he wanted a bit of drama or exictement - he would soon get it then wouldnt he?

But, never say never, and under certain circumstances I MIGHT pull out and "give chase"
