What stage of tune are you at and are you happy??

Been looking into the first upgrade to the standard setup and they all seem much of a much. I wanta proven 245bhp which is around stage-1, but what are the facts, would I see 245bhp with the milltek and veccy-c pipe. Budget £500.00 max so FMIC out of the question.

What stage are you at, who did the work and was you happy with the service?

Around £500 would see you close to 245BHP, I have 240 with just a remap, Milltek and Veccy C pipe with derestricted box. I haven't got a pre-cat replacement, so that might just push it up a little.

I had the original map done by the VXRPC at Banbury, and Regal put the boost switch in along with the modified map. Can't fault the service I've had from both of them.

I like the setup you have Andy, a mild state of tune is what I want.
Can I ask why Regal needed to alter the VXRPC map and could you of saved cash by going straight to Regal?
    Has your MPG gone up?

TBH I'm not sure of the exact changes to the map, but I think the map they use is a dual map, and is controlled by a resistor in the boost switch, I will probably be corrected on this. I like the boost switch as I can run the car on low most of the time, and just high sometimes, hopefully a bit less stress on the engine components. Both Regal and VXRPC use EDS maps, so when Regal went online to the EDS website, they could see that I was already a customer, so it was basically a boost switch I paid for when I went to see them.

MPG has improved, but only by about 2-3 mpg, not massive, but it all helps I guess.

Sounds good as I would only really want the higher map when I drive it and standard most of the time.

I've been seeing the EDS company mentioned a few times. Courtney do their own software plus you get some extra stuff, plugs, filter etc.

Still alittle unsure what to go for and I'm still saving so have time.

Sounds good. Only concern is I'd like a full rolling road setup once mapped.

The brakes and turbo is way off at the moment but definatly a future job.
Thats a good idea and I that would be cool if I could get a ride in the Bus once finished.
