Taken from the Sun Website:
HOPES that the cost of petrol may fall last night rose when the crude oil price slipped to its lowest level for three weeks.
It dropped to $122.25 a barrel after a build-up in US stocks of gasolene, diesel and heating oil.
The fall comes amid growing signs US consumers are cutting back on fuel use due to high prices.
Credit card data suggests American motorists bought five per cent less fuel last week.
AA spokesman Luke Bosdet said: “The fall is excellent news, but it could take between a month and six weeks to feed to pump prices.
“The pain and misery will linger on for a while so we’re not ready to jump up and down yet.”
Stange how the price went up by the day as oil increased in value, yet as soon as it drops we have to wait weeks to see the benefit!
I'm off to pull my trousers and pants down so I can be rogered!
