    Cheers bud, easy to fit?

Doesnt seem to be boosting with as much power as usual and boost is 'spikey'. Does this sound like bs failure? Cant see any leaks in vacuum hoses.

Front one is easy to do took my about 20mins. Rear one is a little bit harder as its down the back of the engine.

The boost usually cuts in around 2500rpm.The symptoms you describe sound like the AFM but if I was you I'd stop wasting my money and puit it towards having a mechanic/vauxhall look at it.

@ £80 p/hour for diagnosis at vxl I cant see it being worth it? If i knew a decent mechanic locally who knows these engines well id be more than happy to pay for them to look at it.

Pay to have it put on tech2 for fault diagnosis, that should have codes stored for the fault.

£80ph or keep throwing money at parts it might not need?

Or £50 odd quid for Tech2 and find out what's really wrong with it?

Sorry but you've already claimed you're 'no mechanic' (although for some reason you've edited your posts)...so why keep throwing money at things people suggest may be wrong with it on an internet forum? End of the day, there could be allsorts wrong...just go get it Tech2'd and then come back so members of this forum can give you a more accurate answer...
