    Removing throttle body X18XE1

    Hey

In the never ending search to fix my cars sometimes jerkiness when slowing down im going to remove my throttle body and give it a good clean. This hopefully shouldn't be a problem as we did this on my brothers vectra last week (z18 ) now the only real problem i can see is mine has a throttle cable, is this simple enough to disconnect or should i just leave it connect and remove the throttle body and just clean it with this still attached?

Any help regarding this would be great.

    Thanks.

the x18xe1 has a throttle cable whilst the the z18xe uses a fly-by wire

id do as above, leave it on and clean it
