Just seen this over on VXON, absolutely love it (bar the auto box):
45,000 miles. This is a unique Lotus Senator. All the mechanics and interior are from lhd Lotus Omega origially number 128 and purchased by me from James Waddington in 1998. At the same time I purchased a 1991 Vauxhall Senator (Vauxhall originally intended to make a Lotus Senator, not a Carlton) and I have created a no expense spared unique Lotus Senator. Originally to be a present to myself for my 50th birthday another decade has past and I have decided to sell this superb vehicle. The Senator had exactly the same interior as the Carlton so everything fitted perfectly. All the Lotus suspension, brakes and running gear also transferred and I have a photographic record of the work including full waxoil treatment to the bodywork. The original engine has been complemented by a specially built automatic 4speed gearbox at a cost of £4k in June 2002 and a Thatcham alarm in Oct 2003.MOT until 16/04/09 and tax to 31/10/08. All expected fittings inc air/con, radio/tape/cd, etc. Westminster blue respray as per original Senator, near perfect condition though rear tyres soon to need replacing. This is a truly unique car at a cost of less than 25% of the cost to me during the project. Too old to enjoy it now but please do not come to joy ride or haggle. I have done less than 2000 miles in the last 10 years and have just completed a service on the vehicle. £9,999.
Belongs to someone on Autobahn stormers now apparently
