Thumbs Up Re Fitting Standad Suspension (Advise Needed)

Refitted the front suspension 2nite and it seams a bit odd and can figure where ive gone wrong!!! LOL!

The strut tops are sitting about an 1" higher that they should and its causing a clunking when moving etc?! Anyone got any idea's on what i may of fluffed up or to check?!

My old man went throug and double tighten everything so cant be that just odd?!
