    Exclamation Urgent Powersounder Help!!!

Hi everyone, I've got the problem with my powersounder where it beeps when i turn the ignition off.. this wasnt a problem until today when the alarm has already gone off twice.

I was going to buy a new powersounder on tueday and fit it using the 'how too' guide, but now i think im going to have to disconnect it before someone comes and smashes my windows in the middle of the night!!

Do i just disconnect it, or is there a certain way of doing it???

    Thanks, Tom

you can,t just disconnect it.it has a battery back up and when you do take it off you can,t shut the dam thing off,so get a bucket of water ready

If the power sounder is faulty then this doesnt work. In theory you turn the ignition on, disconnect the car battery then disconnect the power sounder. Chances are if its faulty even with the above procedure the power sounder will just go off continuously.

Because the power sounder has its own battery back up inside it.

ah right, so if i take it out, and then just take it apart and pull the battery out, that should be ok?? When i turn the ignition off, will the main alarm start to go off????

    Cheers, Tom
