help please no 1 can see me...

i fitted some smoked rear lights to my mk5 astra 2 day. 1 of the wirring looms was missin so i bought 1 off a set of corsa lexus lights from my locol motor world along with some snap connecters. after a bit of butcherin, all the lights/leds work includin the brake lights but when i put my main lights on the led's flash for about 3 seconds then go off. only the brake light and main light are led's and are also the same cluster. im stuck now so if any 1 could help id be made up because at the moment i can only drive in the day light.......

It's possible that the LED's don't draw enough current so the car thinks the bulbs are out and shuts down that circuit. That or this "butchering" as you put it has done some damage or not been wired up right

Can you put your orgional lights in to check all is ok then maybe wait for a replacement loom?

It may just be the LED's and the way the wiring is on the MK5's. Wait and see what others think

    What make are the lights....

Best bet would be to try and contact the manufacturer and ask about additional resistors/looms.

The mk5 uses Canbus so unfortunately not simple to butcher wires....unless you know what you're doing...
