Well had a corker of a day today, it all started last week when I was outside my mate's garage valeting something or other (possibly the white mk4 astra estate) When a huge HGV low loader pulled up outside, to get some sign writing put on it at the graphics place next door. After watching me valet for a bit the driver came over and asked if I could do HGV's. Having done a few horse lorries before naturally I said yes, so he invited me to come and do the interior of his new spare lorry.
So this morning I set off expecting to do an interior valet on an HGV cab, but ended up also doing (all at the same place) a full valet on a Subaru Forester, ANOTHER HGV cab interior valet, and a full valet on an Audi A3 estate (that was soooooooooo stunning I just had to splash out and give it the full megs 3 stage, it deserved it and once I get pics off my phone to show you you'll see why!)
He wanted me to do more but all that in one day is a bit much, kept going from about 8:30am till 7:30pm, and going back on tuesday to do a Range Rover sport, a corsa, something else and a horse box, then apparently there are more HGV's to do so it looks like this will end up being a good contract to have I made £130 today, will be more on tuesday, as the full horsebox could be up to £200 on its own, plus £55 for the range rover and £45 for the corsa.
The only annoying thing about today was that towards the end of the day when I was on my own at the industrial unit (the owner said to call him to come and lock up when I'd finished) that some young chavs started chucking rocks at me over the fence, don't know if they were aiming at the lorry but they mostly hit the unit and one just missed me. Called the owner to let him know they were throwing missiles at his lorry but by the time he got back they were legging it across the fields, after having thrown some random insults at me, I mostly ignored them.
Anyway, valeting is picking up, I'm getting there!!!!
Oh and it's one step closer to friday night, bring on the weekend! *YAY*
