    Spot the difference

    Was a bit bored so got cleaning.

    Cant see much difference really





    Then I started painting



    Only problem is I want it 2 different colours but not sure how to do it and I want it ready for sunday.

    lookin good fella - and i know how manky it was in real life!

    cant u use masking tape?

    fine modellers brush if u plan on doing the recess around the original ecotec another colour etc

    Get the base on Mask off the bits you dont want the first colour with masking tape and paper or plastic paint then let dry before masking over the bit you painted to paint the other part.. its messy fidly and a bit of a pain to do but worth the effort in the end

    what would be the best thing to use to mask it? and should i leave the clear coat until i have done both colours?

    yup you want to leave clear coat till last as for masking use normall masking tape

    EDIT i have seen people use other tapes but i stick with the one named for the purpose

    as for masking tape, Try 3M 3434. It's proper bodywork masking tape.
