You need to remove the centre console first, then the MFD just unscrews from the centre console.

Sure there is a how to on here about removing the centre console.

    Hi mate
ive just taken mine out and put in a gps, il give you a step by step to get the mfd out.

1, under handbrake pull up the plastic plate
2, under here you find two screws just behind the gear stick, undo them
3, lift the gearstick surround up rearwards first and gently rock out the front which stays in place with two plastic pins
    4, remove the cdplayer
5, romove heater controls by lifting the now visable clips, alowing it the just pop out
6, under where the heater controls were is two more screws, remove
7, the top is held with a number of push clips, pull out the bottom gently and use your thumbs to release the clips at the cdplayer hole sides
8, then again gently rock the top out
9, now that its off you`l see the two mfd screws at the base, once you take these out, you`l be able to remove the unit by pulling it down.

hope this helps you mate, and lets see the pics once your done

    Cheers
    Craig.
