    Question Now that don't look right... :(

    Was just about to shove my cleaned up heatshield back on the manicat when I noticed this:



    The bus seems to be running ok, albeit a little raspy at low / mid revs accelerating hard. But I'm pretty certain that those cracks are not meant to be there.

    I'm going to have to find £300 soon, ain't I??

    EDIT: Ignore me, I just had a look at some new ones online and they're the same! Bit bizzarre that they would put a split in the casting where a stud goes through tho, isn't it??

    If you mean that hole in the top right just above the arrow, that's where the heatshield bolts on. Or it will be once I tap it out where I screwed up the thread ages ago

    I checked it over after finding those gaps and all the studs appear intact fortunately
