    1.8 MK4 AStra - abs or not?

Discs need replacing in my 1.8 MK4 52' Astra, does it have ABS or not?

How much more would I be paying for ABS discs?

I'd assume discs are the same for ABS and without ABS - ABS is nothing to do with the discs as far as I'm aware?

That's alright then, been looking at discs on ebay and they state "without abs" so wasn't sure.

Also, when looking for the correct size discs it says different sizes for 1.8s with ABS and without.

Maybe they are different sized discs then - guess it makes a difference in respect of size, no idea which size is cheaper though! If oyu have ebay prices that should suggest whether discs for ABS are more than a non-ABS car...learn something every day!

Basically all I'm bothered about is getting the right size discs, it's a 4 stud wheel fitting, and both the fronts and rears come in two different sizes, one stating with ABS and the other without. I'll have to get someone who knows what their doing to check it for me, I just presumed my car had ABS as standard...with it being a 52 reg 1.8

When you put your keys in the ignition and all the lights come on on the dash, does the ABS light come on at the bottom right hand corner? If it does then you have ABS.

My car is a four stud also and I have ABS.

Easiest way to determine on a 1.8 is by the number of studs

1.8 without ABS uses 256mm 4 stud discs
1.8 with ABS uses 280mm 5 stud discs

1.4/1.6 models use 256mm discs regardless of whether ABS is fitted or not

So if a listing for discs says NON ABS for any Astra G model then it will be for 256mm 4 stud hubs
