Would you sit by idily while your mate went out with your sister/brother?

As above really, hasn't happened to me but just remembered someone it happened to. They aren't speaking to each other anymore and are no longer friends.

    What would you do?

It really depends on who the mate was tbh and on how old the sister in question was!

If my 26 year old 'player' of a mate started "seeing" my 16 year old sister, I could have a problem. If they are of similar age and my mate treated her well, then I don't think it would be a problem.

    However, I don't have a sister so I can't say for sure.

i really dont think it would be a problem tbh...

the only problem is if they split up...family bbq n partys and things like that would be heavy with atmosphere if the split was bad..and then your stuck on who to invite and who your gona piss off who your not inviting!

thats the only downside if your friend dates one of your siblings

I had this happen to me and i went absolutly mental .

As was said up above if your sister is 16/17 and your mate was a 25 year old player then you would have a problem. This ACTUALLY happened to me.

The guy who i classed as a mate (worked with him for 2 years) found my sister via bebo. I told her what he was like when she was talking about him, what he had done to his ex-fioncee, bugged her fone, keglogged her computer etc., (he knew a lot of dodgy people who could do this sort of stuff!) but she wouldnt listen. I even had the guy pulled up at work in his first few months because of his 'temper tantrums' at which at one point he threw a massive metal wall stapler at my head and hit me (which she knew about!).

None of my family would listen either and i ended up disappearing for a few days to actually show them i was serious. He was at our house every nite and tbh it just creaped me out! He was too old for her and they didnt even have anything in common... and in my eyes he was dangerous.

Anyway after a fortnight she told him where to go... she found him going through her fone one nite.. and when i checked her computer the following day i found a keylogger! What a suprise.... He also had a program on her computer where he could log in and see exactly what was on her screen!

My sis and my family learnt the hard way about him but at least they know when i am serious now and how i react!
