    Nurburgring tuition

Right been looking into Ring tuition after hearing about the Alfa 75 experience. Looked into it and its not that expensive.

    Overview
The climax of this course is a full day of circuit driving on the Nurburgring Nordschleife. It is preceded by classroom theory sessions during the previous evening. Your course car will be an Alfa Romeo 75TS ‘Ring Edition’. The last rear wheel drive mass production Alfa is perfectly suited for this role and our own modifications ensure that the car responds very well and is a delight to drive. Alternatively, you may take the course in your own car.

    Course Content
    Day 1 (evening):

    Welcome dinner
Track safety/principles of fast driving lecture
    Day 2:

    Familiarisation lap
Guided convoy driving (with radio instruction/commetary)
    Lunch
Free (solo) driving with instruction as required
    Debriefing with drinks at workshop
    Cost
Euro 575.00 (including tax) per person (based on two drivers sharing a car and a minimum of 12 persons in the group) which includes course DVD and instruction booklet, hire of course car (with petrol and track fees included), limited third party insurance, hire of helmet, etc. For drivers having exclusive use of a car, the cost is Euros 975.
For those taking the course in their own car the cost is:
Euro 225.00 (including tax), which includes course DVD and instruction booklet and hire of helmet. Petrol and track fees are NOT INCLUDED. Budget between Euro 75 and Euro 140 for track fees.

As you can see at the bottom, using your own car the cost is 225E could be an option to get the best out of driving the track.

    Thoughts?

Aye there is. If you go onto the site they run both private days and also run them on Tourist days i.e. when we are there.
