    heated seat switches

I have just bought vectra b leather heated front seats to put in my mark 4 astravan. I'm already pre wired but am wondering about the switch situation.
The vectra b switches are just on and off but the astra ones to fit my dash plugs are 3 position switches, how does this effect the vectra heated seats, will they work on all 3 positions or only on one of the three, will they work at all?
Any advise would be grately recieved.

    Regards

    I'd disagree Enigma

the astra uses a control unit on the seats by the looks of it and a temperature sensor mounted in the seat

Can be made to work on one setting with a couple of relays though
