    boost problem!!!!!!

    hi guys n gals.i have got a stage 1 but i had it on the rollers recently and it only ran 216bhp.now today it seems there is no boost at all,its alot slower than usual and there is no noise comin from the dump valve unless i really rev it up on the rpm.can anyone help me or give advice please?

    sorted now,found out the problem was the nut on the actuator had come off and the waste gate had trapped shut,but thanks to mr glenn yale its running much better now

    tbh mate it a sort of common prob so i have a habbit of checking mine everytime bonnet open wondered about puttin a 2nd lok nut on it just to be sure

    Glad you got it sorted

    This happened to me a while back so I've wired under the locknut and twisted it tight so if the the nut comes loose, it won't be able to loosen itself down the rod.

    Yeah this happened to me aswell. I just put a second nut on the bottom of the thread to lock it.
