    Ferry

    Has anyone been on the ferry with a lowered car?
    I am thinkin of going to france but dont want to destroy my car gettin it on the ferry.

    Take the tunnel mate, lot quicker and no problem with lowered cars.

    No idea about the Ferry though

    I though about the tunnel but its a long drive from there and only a little one from the ferry

    i went on the ferry on monday and with the standard ride height of my coupe i was ok but any lower u would need sum1 to watch you in lol

    Richie, when I took my old car accross th Northern Ireland and back, I asked the woman at the booking in booth if I could be put on the lower deck as my car was low at the front, and the stuck me in the bottom with all the lorries. 1st on, 1st off GET IN!!!

    As gazTD says, when you check in just ask to be put on the bottom deck as your car is too low.
    Unless the ferry is full of lorries they will usually oblige. That's what I do every time I'm taking my car over to mainland UK from N.Ireland.

    my brother in law has a st mondeo lowerd and as he was getting on the ferry he ripped his rear bumper off

    Mate, i wouldnt risk it, you car is worth too much to start pissin around with your bumpers again and it is pretty low.

    If ya smash up your bumper on the way over its guna be one hell of a shit trip 4 u.
