    Bolt Problem

    Hey everyone im new here, not sure where to exactly ask this but i think i got the right place. right i was removing my seat out of my astra not long ago and 1 of the bolts sheered off can any body give me idea of how to the get the rest of the bolt out i cant use mole grips cheers in advance

    best idea is to have a nut welded ontop of it and then removed that way

    if u cant weld personally then get ur self along to a decent engineering firm or an exhaust place - should sort u out.

    Drill the centre of the bolt out, then re tap the hole to get the threads back... only issue here is you need to be accurate with the drill and get the right size one as well

    ermm

    well i wudnt say i was the most accurate of ppl goin lmao any idea what sort of drill bits i wud need because the metal them bolts are made of are tough
