I save a lot of energy at home by simply getting my missus to make my bru, go on top, and come to me when I want her, not vice versa.....

    (sorry mate, had too!)

in my flat we still have a coin operated (£1 at a time) electricity meter - it really teaches you to turn things off when not in use when you can actually see your money physically being wasted, when you have the electric heater on the spinny dial thing zooms round at an alarming rate! (wear a jumper or snuggle up with someone instead lol)

Use florescent tube lights in the office and where all lights are on 100% of the day! don’t use incandescent bulbs where possible. if there are lights in a cubbard/small room where the room is hardly used have a little sign saying "turn me off".

what sort of company do you work for do you have big machinery using lots of electricity?

1, Use Energy saving bulbs not reguler bulbs,
    Trade in all pc's for c64's 400W Vs 60W?
Don't have staff meating's ( biggest waste of energy)
Don't talk to anyone (trying to make a point is also one of the biggest waste of energy)
    Don't make hot drinks.
Going to works has to be the top way of wasting energy and global resources.

In general i agree, but what are these staff meatings you have? lol
also, wouldn't you say it's expensive to buy alot of HID lights? although they would be brighter :P
