    CDTi engine clean up

    I know there anit much stuff out there for the 1.7CDTi engine,

    But does anyone know of anywhere that sell stuff to make the engine bay look abit nicer or have any tips to make them look nicer.

    This is what am cleaning up, Yes it needs a wash 1st, which is getting done today.

    A major clean up really does make the world of difference.

    Nothing beats a clean engine bay. You could also paint the engine cover to make it stand out.

    I have the 1.9CDTi and I have the Thurlby hose kit and the engine cover is currently away getting a lick of paint. After that there is nothing more to do.

    you could give it a Clean
    paint the airbox an engine covers ?
    play around with Carbon an make a airbox cover ??
    paint the fuse box covers

    might be worth getting some more sound deadening if its as noisy as mine

    it anit really noisy, just needs a good cleaning, i was think of painting all covers blue and the caps red, or something like that

    see glenn and i am sure he will sort you out with some covers, battery, fuse, brake reseviour cover etc! if you could sorce a hose kit then that would also be good!!!

    get some pics up once its cleaned!!!

    im not sure what type of hose kits are needed as also kev I cant really send silly money on the engine like some NE members

    its just a gradual process mate, but painting and the shiney bits from glenn aint too expensive and make a big difference! drop him a pm and get some prices!
