    oil leak problem

Hi there i have an oil leak on my zaf gsi but can not for the life of me find where its coming from. There seems to be oil coming from my bailey dump valve. I have had the ocasional bit of smoke from the exhaust but not much at all. Its just when i have been driving for a bit there is oil all over the place but it seems to be coming from the dump valve because you can see where it has splashed when my dv has released the pressure hope someone can help

Justfrom personal experiances ONE WORD 'TURBO' i had the same problem when my turbo went! oil leaks through the turbo and easy escape route is the dump valve! take off the pipe between the intercooler and intake and if its coated with quite a bit of oil init then you'll find its the turbo BUT there is suppose to be a slight coating of oil but there will be deffinate signs whe you take that pipe off! hope this helps!!!!!

it would probably be easier and cheaper to fit a vxr turbo from lmf or the likes.

its around the same cost for vxr as it is a recon unit! there is just one water pipe that needs changing! remove the stop and refit it where thewater pipe was! its easy to see when its of and they are side by side!
