How long does your clay last?

Brought the megs smooth surface clay kit and was wondering: -

    1) how long can i expect to get out of the clay given sensible useage?
    2) How long have you been using yours?

    Thanks in advance

I break bits off mine and throw them away afterwards.
So far I've used it 3 or 4 times and probably have about 1/3 left.

Break the bar into about 3 or 4 bits. keep turning it regulary and once used it, save it for the wheels.

Bin it if you accidentally drop it and dont use dirty clay on paint. Wheels its fine.

About half a wing before I drop it on the floor and have to bin it. I'm forever doing that its peeing me right off I'm getting through an entire bar each time I clay

Munkie you only need to do it perhaps twice a year. BUT it depends where you live / where your car is stored. I used to live next to some factories and the car was covered in yellow particles, so I clayed every time I washed. Now I've moved away from that I only clay say once every 3 months or so, or just before a show I always clay before shows. I'd recommend clay again on the next wash and judge for yourself how dirty the clay is and you'll be able to guage how long to leave it next time.
