    1st detail - what do i need?

Iv been doing a lot research lately regarding detailing and tbh Im completely lost! theres so much out there product wise I wouldnt know which I would need or which to buy!

Iv got a europa blue coupe with plenty of scratches and swirls, and not forgetting stone chips with im planning to touch up and wet sand etc.

Can someone with more know how on this subject recomend me some products for a beginner and maybe explain which order I would need to use them in? I will be using a porter cable or similar btw.

    any help would be great!

I really wouldnt attempt wet and drying. It is quite advanced.

You WILL need a machine polisher is you do it also.

Brave will give ya that but go to far and the only way to fix it would be a respray. What about getting a scrap panel to try on first?

Ensure you get the chips clean first, rub some of the paint away to give the touchup something to key to.
Add a tiny bit at a time with cocktail stick and let dry. Then rub down with wet and dry that has soaked for like 24hrs.
Then polish out with decent polish and rotary.

There was a really good tutorial on detailing world somewhere.

I'll try and dig it out
