    some say they are proven to work (Ffoeg had some success on his mk3 iirc) some say there dont work on Ecotec engines (Ruperts Trooper)

    Fairly sure the manufacturers guarantees an improvement if not then u get ur money back so maybe worth trying it.

    As with all things - do ur research first then base ur decision on that.

    I had mine on a X20XEV (the same as yours, Newton), and it did what it was it was meant to . I wouldn't use one on a Z series engine tho as the ECU is too clever

    I plumbed it into the brake servo pipe as close to the manifold as possible.

    they make a farty sound,didn't notice any difference on my calibra.

    I've got a brand new one in silver, still in the box. Never got around to fitting it as I didn't know where to fit it but if Geoff say's that he wouldn't use one on a Z series I think I might sell it then as I have a Z16XEP.

    I've got one lying around in the garage too, "acquired" it from a scrapyard. Has nobody actually tested this fully ever? Or are they just myth like?
