    Engine management light?

On they way back from southend last night I think the eml light came on. Its the yellow one with a car with a spanner though it. It was after a bit of spirited driving but nothing seemed to change on the car, it just drove exactly the same as before. I've driven it hard before and it hasn't come on. Anyone know what it could be? Should I take it down vaux and have it on tech2?

It would give you a part code that you would need to look up and that will tell you what it is. yes it will work in your motor

Yes the ECU does system checks on the circuit after a couple of miles as well to make sure that all is well, That happened to my boost pipe it took 1 day of driving to rest it though

when my boost pipe came off the other day after the jubilee clip not tightening up right, i had the EML and TC light on. once i had put the pipe back on started it up and the EML went off but the TC was still there. Turned the car on and off again and the TC had gone.

Tech 2 should tell you what the code is. But if the lights out now i'm not sure if the code will still be in the memory
