    Sprayed Skirts, handles etc...

    Question about respraying.
Totally new to modding but really want to improve the look of my car and not sure whether this is a dumb question or not...
I have a silver 5 door Astra, with the standard black side skirts and black panel under the bumper. Rather than buying new skirts and having them sprayed, mainly because I am skint, is it possible just to get the current black plastic parts of the body work sprayed? (door handles/door strip, etc)
What sort of cost are you looking at? What do the standard bits look like painted? (any pics?!? ) and would the paint chip off them easily?
    Much appreciate any suggestions/advice.

Thanks guys for replying, the pics look great.... just what I want to achieve.

Its sounds from your posts that you did the work yourselves... that right?

Had a quick look on here and couldnt find any guides. What are the steps taken? What do you need to buy? Approx cost? Could a total beginner do it without making a massive hash of it? ... and do you have to take the individual parts off the car, or can you spray them in situ?
