With the aircon on or off and the fan switch at zero you'll still get air coming in the car.

You've had it regassed which is good.

When you turn the AC on can you feel the car change in anyway IE revs drop slightly or a cluncking sound as it engaged? The air con pump is run off the aux belt and places a bit more strain on the engine when engaged so you should feel a power difference.

It could be that the clutch or the air con pump itself is up the swanny which will mean that the gas is sitting lovely but nothing to pump it around with.

Or you could have a leak in which case all that lovely gas has just escaped. Easy way of telling is this is the case is to have it regassed with dye. This shows up any leaks in the A/C system by a yellow dye being shown around the leaking area.

Back to my original thing then ...

    Who re-gassed it ?

I would suggest it's either not been done properly, or been done when the system is faulty....

when they regass it they test to make sure it meets the manufacturers specification. I need to get mine tested some time.
