    milage display

    Hi guys any ideas why my milage display screen has gone blank!

    blown bulb is the most likely cause.

    Search the how to section. As said it's probably the bulb a 1.2watt frosted bulb buy the other bulbs that fit in the panel as well as i find they all start to blow after that

    You have to remove the instrument binnacle....

    Remove plastic around steering column, then plastic fascia from the front of the instruments...
    There is a lever that holds the binnacle to the wiring connection, undo that and pull out carefully..
    If you have adjustable steering wheel, move it out of the way as much as you can to manouvre the binnacle out

    Its easier than it seems, you just have to be patient. If you dont feel confortable though then you are doing the right thing taking it to a garage.
