    Temperature sensors

    Evening all

Was wondering if there are any such things about that I can wire up to monitor the temperature of my amplifiers with a little digital display? something that sits near the heatsink, just so I can keep an eye on them as they're under a false floor

    Yep,
when i built a computor for a friend i fitted a LCD monitoring display unit into the 5 1/2" bay, it had sensor probes that i could attach to anything i wanted to monitor, and was powered by it's own battery.
Try Maplins/ebuyer or Micro Mart, you should be able to adapt something like that for your needs.

You need to put the temp sensor as close the the MOSFET transistors in the amp as possible this is where your heat will come from you can monitor this and also the H.sink its self
