Best way to clean/polish/wax/seal a blue?!

Just got my car back from being de-swirled, de-dinted, colour coded and generally spruced up.

It is an Astra G in Ultra Blue.

I now want to clean, polish, wax & seal it so its protected & beads nicely.

Whats the best way? I've looked at loads of threads but it'd be great to get some advice on the products and the order to use them specific to my colour.

    Cheers!

    - I plan to take some detailed before & afters once i have the advice too.

For Ultra Blue I'd probably look at doing the following.

    Snow Foam
    Wash
Clay with cleanyourcar.co.uk's polyclay, with a shampoo solution for lube.
    Wash
Dry with a waffleweave towel, using detailing spray as a drying aid
Paint Cleaner - Zymol HD Cleanse/Dodo Juice Lime Prime/Meg's Deep Crystal Stage 1
Wax - Dodo Juice Purple Haze would work wonders on Ultra Blue.

TBH, the whole polish, seal, wax is a bit overrated. I did the vxr with just Zymol HD Cleanse and Poorboy's World Natty's Red Wax, then waxed it again a week later with Dodo Juice Doublewax and the results were outstanding.
    Gaz

    No longer owns an Astra

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring
