Got a first time pass on my IRT (Instrument Rating Test) today! For those of you still lost, it's an exam which gives you an instrument rating which means you are qualified to fly under Instrument flight rules (ie without being able to see outside, flying purely off radio navigation aids, the artificial horizon and the like).
So now off to New Zealand again to do the last 10 flights for my Commercial license, and then the next thing I fly will be a 737 or an A320/319! Exciting times.
The bad news? I'm missing a friend's stag do to vegas (which I already spent £600 on!!!) because the gits are sending me back out to NZ. Bugger.
So anyway, that's the latest update in my Journey to the Airlines!
