    Well as some of you may be aware had our RR day the other week and the remap i got done from a mobile bloke from chipped uk the remap i got didnt seem to make any difference sp jason kindly offered for me to go and get a free live remap done. hes going to put standard map back on RR it then live map it and RR it again and do a dyno then try and tweak it some more.

    Totally FOC so cant pass the oppertunity up so heading on a 400 mile round trip, will be there from about 12pm if anyone is local and wants to pop in and say hi to a fellow member.

    Jason seemed very unhappy with his mobile man and wants to recify the prob asap - only spoke to him 1hour ago so really sounds promising - will report back with results tomorrow.

    well just got back after a long and eventfull day, would like to thank matt for poping in and saying hi, and to all the guys at chipped uk, got in he had a few runs on the RR and got about 100bhp then found were i have the problem, adv i had no back pressure in my exhause being a N/A car it relies on back pressure from the exhaust to go back in the engine and give it that bt more power, then he took the file from my car sent it over to opel in germany and had the top modder on it - 2 hours later the file came back and went on my car and RR it again and it came with 15lb more torgue and 4bhp more, he let the car warm up and let it idle for 10 mins done another run and it was at 108bhp and felt alot more smoother from 4k revs as originally it was dying at 4k revs and dropping down. took it for a spin and felt alot more responsive so was very pleased baring in mind i was there for about 4 hours and never paid a penny!

    Jason advised me to get a new stainless centre section for my exhause and replace my Remus pipe and it should give me about 8-10 bhp more and alot more torque, so ordered a new centre section thru exhausts uk today and that should be with me on thursday, guna let it bed in for about 2 weeks then do another power run on a RR and see what im getting.

    So all in all a very good day apart from the weather on the way home but with my HID's and MK5 wipers it was a nice drive home

    Glad to hear that you have got it sorted. I had my 306 remapped by them and Jason is a nice bloke. Was very helpful when I rang up and was impressed with the service overall. Would recommend them to all.

    So in using the Remus straight through centre pipe you were down on performance ? Had wondered about this as since fitting mine it appears to have lost power over approx 4000rpm, i've had mine on for a while now but have noticed when driving standard 1.8's at work with the standard system they seem to pull better at higher revs.
