    annual service/ loss of power

    Hi all, im new to this site and unfortunately my astra is due a service now, i was wondering if anyone could give me a run down on wat has to be done and how to do it? Also my astra is an 99 t-reg 1.6 16v sxi, and ive noticed a considerable loss of power recently does anyone have any ideas?

    change all filters and change spark plugs and oil and you mite notice a difference it did on my mates car when i service his 1.6

    Which service does it need?

    40k/4 years - 20k items + plugs, air filter, fuel filter, cambelt + idler kit, water pump

    20k/2 years - 10k items + pollen filter

    10k/1 year - engine oil + filter
    Maintains:- Vectra Design 1.9CDTi
    Drives :- Hyundai Santa Fe

    Best thing is to buy the Haynes manual, that covers routine servicing as well as repairs.
