I work late shifts so I was travelling to get a takeaway for tea. I went to a cash machine which decided to eat my card. I forgot to turn my headlights off whilst I ran the bank & this was for about 30 minutes. This then flattened the battery & I had to call the AA.
Anyway when I told them my reg they said I was not covered for any vehicle & I would have to pay £50!!!!! Very unimpressed I paid the fee & have now made a complaint as I was under the impression I was covered not my car!
Anyway rant over, should leaving the headlights on for 30 mins cause the battery to drain so much??
