Saturday was BMC's first meet as West Mids RO and he did an exceptional job of the whole thing, free bacon butties and as much tea and coffee as you could get down ya. The Staffs region came in attendance too, to see Chris's new pub and the marks left by his old cabby getting a wee bit too hot . Chris's pub is about to undergo a £750'000 refurb so I'm sure we'll be back there again once the builders have done their thing. But lovely day, shame the weather could make up its mind as to whether it wanted to be sunny, snow or rain just kept on changing by the minute. But none of this could dampen the spirits of the Midlands team .

Just wanted to thank everyone who came for making it such a great day, its the members that make the region what it is and it goes to show that the Midlands members are an awesome lot (that includes you as well east mids). Great turn out of cars and great bunch of people I got to meet too. Albeit slightly hung over
Thanks to BMC and his staff for making us so welcome and providing us with tea, coffee and bacon sarnies. Excellent day out, hopefully you guys will be able to make the next meet at RAF Cosford next Sunday?
