    9" wide wheels????

just got another quick question guys.im buying a set of deep dish alloys for my coupe turbo and wanted to know if i would hav any problem fitting 17x9" wide rims on the front.the cars only lowered 30mm so the height shouldnt be a problem.only concern is on full lock.it would be very helpful if some1 could help.thanks

Only problem I see you having is being pulled by the traffic cops all the time, due to the wheels sticking out from the bodywork.

i was thinking that but as long as the tread of the tyre is under the bodywork it passes an mot apprantly.im only using 215 tyres so it should be a nice stretch.ill try n get a pic up.im praying they will be ok

I hope I am not the bearer of bad news but I dont think they will fit. You may be lucky but dont forget the wheel width is split evenly so these may well smack on the inner arches.

I hope I am wrong though! what ET did you go for?

I thought the same, went searching for your (old) guide to wheel fitments on a mk4, but couldn't find it.
