    past cars/projects

    I did try and find another thread with the same idea but i couldnt so thought id start one, basically any old motors that you modded/restored
    my fiesta 1.6 SI
    started out like this

    bought this

    had the engine like this







    and ended up looking like this(pics were before i got anything plumbed in)


    result

    one of the cam bearings oilways became blocked and seized


    so out came the turbo and everything and it went back to pretty much standard as i needed the car for work and didnt wanna risk not getting there

    was going all so well till that snapped camshaft, get it all back together mate, and your on a winner.

    would love to put her back on the road as i have another engine here that i built after the rod left the sump on the one i put in but after sitting at the side of the house she was damaged quite badly(chavs), nothing i cant repair but its the ballache of doing it that puts me off, shame really as it was a brilliant fun car to drive round the twisties
